What You’ll Do
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s growth and wellbeing
- Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- Represent and promote the centre in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s values and philosophy
- Participate in ongoing professional development to continue growing your skills and confidence
- Build meaningful relationships with families, colleagues and the wider community
Job Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to take the Child Protection Training
