About Us
HomeMove is a trusted Melbourne removalist company based in Northcote, proudly moving homes and offices since 2008. We’re building a reliable, high-performing team and are looking for 3x Removalist Drivers to join us.
What This Job Is Really Like
- Long, physical days (typically 8–12+ hours)
- Heavy lifting, stairs, and tight access
- Working in heat, cold, and all weather conditions
- Fast-paced team environment with high standards
- Customer-facing role — professionalism matters
This is not a sit-down job and not suited to everyone.
What We Offer
- $32.00–$35.00 per hour + penalties + bonuses + super
- MR Drivers: Higher rates available based on experience
- Overtime, Saturday rates, and meal allowances
- Casual role with 25–50 hours per week (consistent work for reliable performers)

What We’re Looking For
- Full Driver’s Licence (held 5+ years) – Manual preferred
- Clean driving record (will be checked)
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting all day
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent — turning up matters
- Good attitude and able to work in a team
- Presentable with strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using an iPad for job run sheets
Highly Regarded
- Living within 12km of Northcote
- Previous removals, labouring, or trades experience
- Availability for 5 days per week (some Saturdays)
Commitment
We’re looking for people who want consistent, ongoing work and are willing to commit beyond the first few months.
This is not a short-term or “in-between” job.
Hiring Process
