We are very excited to be able to offer an Early Childhood teaching position amongst our amazing team of educators at Carinya Neighbourhood Children’s Centre Inc.
Carinya is a long day care centre with over 40 years of experience as an Exceeding not-for-profit community-based service. We cater for children aged 0-5 years delivering meaningful experiences for the children, families, and staff.
Our child-based curriculum ensures that the children and their safety are at the forefront of our program. Carinya enjoys regular excursion into our community and has an embedded Bush preschool program (for not just our preschoolers!). Our Philosophy ensures that families are supported not just on enrolment but are at the heart of their children's learning.
This position requires a warm, passionate, experienced educator who leads by example, supports team collaboration, and upholds the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing, and professional practice in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Child Safe Standards.

Skills and Requirements:
- Available to work at least 3 days a week - Mon-Wed, or Full time is also considered
- Bachelor of Early Childhood approved by ACECQA
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Hold a current Working with Children check
- Hold approved Child Safety and Child protection training
- Hold approved Food safe handling certificate
- Hold approved First Aid Training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
- Have experience and strong knowledge with the National Quality Standards, EYLF and the Child Safe Standards
- Experience with a Bush preschool is desirable
- Have the ability to work as part of a team by listening, collaborating and reflecting on yourself and with others to maximise the learning environment
