Functional Consultant – D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
About the Role
Hewitt is seeking a Functional Consultant – D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management to support the delivery of effective D365 solutions aligned to our future-state operating model. Based in Brisbane, this role will work closely with our SI Partner, Business Process Owners, SMEs, Solution Architects, Data, Integration, Change and Testing teams. You will support business process design, system configuration, fit-gap analysis, testing and user adoption activities across the ERP lifecycle. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys translating business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose ERP solutions. This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane office. Given the highly collaborative nature of the ERP program, the successful candidate will work on-site five days per week.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops to understand current and future-state business processes.
- Gather, analyse and document functional requirements, process maps and design documentation.
- Configure D365 modules in line with approved solution designs and governance decisions.
- Support Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Hypercare phases across the ERP lifecycle.
- Develop and execute functional test scenarios, support UAT, defect triage and business readiness activities.
About You
You are an experienced D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant with strong ERP implementation experience. You bring a structured approach to requirements gathering, process design, documentation, workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement. You are confident working across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production processes. You communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and enjoy solving problems in a collaborative, fast-moving project environment.
You Will Bring

Significant experience delivering ERP implementations, including multiple Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management project lifecycles.
- Experience across at least two full ERP implementation lifecycles.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process design, documentation and workshop facilitation.
- Experience with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, data migration and ERP testing methodologies.
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture or multi-site/global environments, with D365 certification and Agile or hybrid delivery experience highly regarded.
