3.8 Baysie is looking for an experienced front-of-house all-rounder who can confidently hold the floor and jump behind the coffee machine when needed.
For us, personality matters. We’re looking for someone warm, upbeat and genuinely happy to be around people—someone who enjoys getting to know regulars, welcomes new customers and helps create the friendly neighbourhood atmosphere we’re known for.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has previous front-of-house and coffee-making experience
- Is naturally friendly, bubbly and easy to get along with
- Genuinely enjoys hospitality and connecting with customers
- Can confidently manage a section and provide attentive table service
- Makes consistently good coffee without fuss
- Reads the room, notices what needs doing and stays one step ahead
- Works calmly and efficiently during busy services
- Communicates well and contributes positively to a small team
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in doing a good job
We provide full table service, so this role is about more than taking orders and carrying plates. You’ll need to be present, switched on and customer-focused, with the confidence to take ownership of the floor and make people feel genuinely looked after.
What we offer:
- Approximately 25–35 hours per week, depending on your availability
- A steady role within a small, growing team
- A friendly neighbourhood café with a strong base of regular customers
- Bayswater location, within easy walking distance of the train station
- Award rates based on experience
If you have solid hospitality experience and are looking for a workplace where your personality and customer service will be genuinely valued, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send your résumé and a short introduction to [email protected].
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Pay: From $33.05 per hour
