We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team based in Roseville NSW.
Your role as Electrician
Install, maintain, test, commission and certify electrical assets across various locations on the Sydney Metro network.- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical assets and systems in accordance with relevant standards, legislation and regulations.
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and diagnostic tools and perform repairs and replacements as required.
- Interpret circuit drawings and complete electrical wiring and installations.
- Respond to service calls, equipment breakdowns and asset faults to restore normal operations.
- Monitor system parameters using control systems and sensors and adjust settings as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records using CMMS and other documentation tools.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Undertake electrical work including domestic, commercial, industrial and high-voltage installations.
- Work on electrical and related assets such as HVAC, Tunnel Ventilation and BMS systems when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Trade Qualified Electrician- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Relevant Construction Card (e.g. White Card)
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card (can be provided)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and wiring diagrams
- Ability to use testing equipment, diagnostic tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Capable of obtaining Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs
- Computer literacy
