About the Role
A brilliant opportunity exists for aNDIS Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with paediatric and disability experience to join our team at Riverwood. This is a community based role with an anchor to our fully resourced clinic in Riverwood.
This role is open to experienced behaviour therapists with proficient, advanced or specialist NDIS registration status.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting functional behaviour assessments predominately to children with complex behaviours
- Developing and implementing Interim Plans and comprehensive positive behaviour support plans
- Implementing plans with clients, their families and support networks
- Providing behaviour support services to clients in the community and at school
- Writing reports including assessment reports, progress reports and NDIS reports
- Maintaining treatment notes
- Working with a high degree of autonomy, and collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team

About You
- Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Behaviour or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in the disability sector and with paediatric clients
- Current registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS
- Current drivers’ licence and vehicle
- National police check
- Valid working with children check
- NDIS workers check
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- A passion for working with children and their families
