- Full-time permanent – Dayshift Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

About the Role
Key Result Areas:
- Works under the direct supervision of the designated senior staff member.
- Promotes a continuous quality improvement approach to all aspects of the job.
Tasks:
- Prepare surfaces of vehicles.
- Removing rough spots on vehicle panels.
- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders.
- Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper.
- Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint.
- Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns, and sanding surfaces between coats.
- Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles.
- Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork.
- Painting signs and artwork on vehicles.
- Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work as a positive and productive team member.
- Willingness to work within the philosophy of VEHICLE HEROES PTY LTD.
- 3 years of relevant experience and/or qualification as a Vehicle Painter/Spray Painter.
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement principles.
