When you join AMA Group, you’re joining the largest collision repair network across Australia and New Zealand – an ASX-listed organisation with more than 3,200 team members across 140+ locations.
Every year, our teams help get more than 300,000 people and businesses back on the road.
Behind an operation of this scale is a technology environment that keeps thousands of people connected and our sites operating – and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT Service Delivery team, based in Rowville.
If you love solving problems, enjoy helping people and want an IT role where you’ll be exposed to a large, geographically diverse business, this is an opportunity to do much more than sit behind a service desk.
Who is AMA Group?
AMA Group is a leader in the Australian and New Zealand collision repair industry, with operations spanning collision and heavy vehicle repair, automotive parts and workshop consumables, vehicle recycling and specialist automotive services.
Our network includes some of the most recognised businesses in the industry and supports everything from passenger and prestige vehicles through to commercial vehicles, trucks and buses.
We’re a large, complex and constantly evolving organisation – which makes IT an incredibly important part of keeping our people and our business moving.
For someone building a career in IT, that means exposure to the systems, technology and challenges that come with supporting a major multi-site organisation – along with opportunities to learn, develop and grow your career within the Group.
The opportunity
As an IT Support Analyst, you’ll be one of the first people our employees turn to when they need technology support.
And with thousands of employees across a national network, there’s plenty to keep things interesting.
One minute you could be troubleshooting Microsoft 365, the next setting up a new employee, configuring a laptop, resolving a connectivity issue or supporting the technology requirements of a new AMA Group site.
You’ll work alongside our broader IT team to solve problems, keep our people productive and make technology easier for our employees to use.
What you’ll get involved in
-
Be the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests
-
Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, mobile devices, printers and connectivity
-
Set up and deploy laptops, computers, mobile devices and other IT equipment
-
Support employee onboarding, offboarding and access changes
-
Complete standard administration across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
-
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network connectivity issues
-
Own support tickets through to resolution and keep users informed along the way
-
Work with specialist IT teams and external providers to resolve more complex issues
-
Maintain IT assets, equipment and stock
-
Develop user guides, knowledge articles and support documentation
-
Get involved in new site openings, relocations, testing and other IT projects
-
Identify recurring problems and help us continually improve the employee IT experience
What we’re looking for
Technical capability matters, but so does how you work with people.
You’ll be someone who is curious, practical and enjoys figuring things out. You communicate clearly, take ownership and don’t consider a ticket resolved until the person at the other end is back up and running.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
-
Experience in an IT Service Desk, Help Desk or end-user support role
-
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
-
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
-
Confidence setting up and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, printers and peripherals
-
An understanding of Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network troubleshooting
-
Experience with an IT ticketing or service management system
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Great communication skills and a genuine customer-service mindset
-
The ability to prioritise and stay organised in a busy environment
-
A collaborative attitude and, importantly, a willingness to keep learning
-
A full driver’s licence and ability to occasionally travel to AMA Group sites
Exposure to Microsoft Intune, ITIL practices or business applications, along with relevant IT qualifications or certifications, is advantageous – but not essential.
Why join AMA Group?

Scale and exposure - You’ll support technology across one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest automotive networks.

Variety - With 140+ locations and thousands of employees, you won’t be solving the same problem every day.
-
Career development - We’re a large Group with diverse businesses, teams and career opportunities. We want our people to develop and progress.
-
Get involved - This isn’t just about closing tickets. You’ll have opportunities to contribute to projects, new site openings, technology rollouts and improvements across our network.
-
Make an impact - When our technology works, our people can do their jobs, and our sites can keep our customers moving.
