About the Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Contractor Support Workers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide essential support that empowers clients to maintain their wellbeing, build life skills, achieve personal goals, and engage meaningfully within their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and shopping
- Facilitate community access and social participation
- Assist clients in promoting mental health, wellbeing, and independence
- Encourage and support the development of lifelong skills
Shifts are available throughout the week, including weekends. We value work-life balance—so while weekend availability is welcomed, it’s not required every weekend.
Please note: This is a contractor position. Applicants must hold a current ABN and valid insurance.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Current ABN and comprehensive insurance (public liability and professional indemnity)
- Minimum 6 months of NDIS support experience, including personal care and community participation
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle and a current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Strong initiative with the ability to work independently
- A professional, compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to quality care
- Reliability and punctuality
Mandatory Documentation
Applicants must provide:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check (clear and recent)
- COVID-19 Vaccination certificate
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Work references
- Right to work in Australia
