We are currently offering Aboriginal Health Worker Traineeships within the following areas:
Mental Health
Location: Mental Health Location: Macarthur Mental Health Centre (Campbelltown)
This traineeship provides an opportunity to build skills and experience within Community Mental Health services, supporting Aboriginal consumers, families, and communities to access culturally safe mental health care and support. Trainees will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to assist with care coordination, community engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and supporting positive mental health outcomes for Aboriginal people across the community.
Aboriginal Chronic Care
Location: Budyari (Miller the Hub) Community Health Centre
This traineeship offers the opportunity to develop skills within Aboriginal Chronic Care services, supporting Aboriginal patients living with or at risk of chronic health conditions. Trainees will work closely with Aboriginal Health Workers and clinical teams to support care coordination, health education, cultural support, and improved access to services, helping to promote better health outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
