Seafood Delivery Driver – Casual /Part-Time

Miami Fish Market is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our growing team.
The role involves delivering and collecting premium seafood products, with a primary focus on the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Brisbane, potentially Sunshine Coast.
You will be responsible for ensuring every order is delivered accurately, safely, on time and at the correct transit temperature. As a representative of Miami Fish Market, you will often be the face of our business when interacting with wholesale customers, suppliers and hospitality partners.
Estimated 20 hours per week to begin with; 4 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver premium seafood orders throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane – potentially also including areas across the Northern Rivers and Sunshine Coast.
- Collect seafood and other products from suppliers as required.
- Check orders carefully against invoices and delivery documentation.
- Ensure the correct products and quantities are delivered to each customer.
- Maintain correct cold-chain and transit temperatures at all times.
- Complete and record temperature checks where required.
- Load and unload seafood carefully to maintain product quality and presentation.
- Obtain delivery confirmations and immediately report any discrepancies.
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and the Miami Fish Market team.
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe delivery vehicle.
- Assist with preparing, packing and organising orders when required.
- Follow all road safety, food safety and company procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on order accuracy.
- Confident working independently and managing a delivery schedule.
- Physically capable of safely lifting and moving seafood boxes and eskies.
- Comfortable working with chilled and temperature-sensitive products.
- Able to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and team members.
- Experienced in delivery driving, logistics, seafood or food distribution, although training will be provided to the right person.
Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s licence with a safe driving history.
- Strong knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.
- Availability for early-morning starts and flexible hours when required.
- Understanding of cold-chain handling and food safety is highly regarded.
- Full Australian working rights.
This position will initially be offered on a casual / part-time basis, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time salaried role as the position and delivery operations grow.
