What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective clinical management of patients in Renal Supportive Care Medicine, under appropriate supervision, whilst developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment. Renal Supportive Care Medicine is the fastest growing subspecialty within the field of Nephrology. The fellow within this area will assist in the development of the service, ensuring that both patients who choose a non dialytic pathway and those on renal replacement therapy (dialysis/ transplant) will be better managed re medical management of symptom burden, and end of life planning. All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.

Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
