About the role
- Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the accurate management, processing and distribution of patient correspondence and medical records.
- Support clinicians and external stakeholders by responding to enquiries and assisting with the use of the iMedX Transcription system and related applications.
- Maintain accurate patient, GP and clinic information, ensuring correspondence is delivered promptly and confidentially to the appropriate recipients.
- Manage the preparation, scanning, filing and quality assurance of medical records, contributing to the integrity of the Scanned Medical Record (SMR) system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical staff and Social Work, to retrieve and track medical records while providing flexible administrative support across the department.
About you
- Previous clerical or administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work flexibly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, including professional phone manners and customer service focus
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience scanning medical records, with data entry or record processing skills highly regarded
