Your new role:
As the Conversions Assistant Consultant, you will provide advice and support to MSH stakeholders regarding the permanent conversion review process, managing reviews across MSH facilities and escalating complex matters to the Conversions Consultant when required. You will:
Coordinate and monitor permanent conversion reviews, ensuring processes progress within legislative timeframes and escalating matters approaching their due date.
Provide practical, authoritative advice to employees, line managers and delegates regarding eligibility criteria, escalating complex enquiries where appropriate.
Analyse and report on conversion data, providing information to support analysis, reporting and publication requirements.
Prepare correspondence and employment documentation, while using contemporary Microsoft applications and Queensland Health systems including SAP HR, DSS, myHR and the Case Management Database.
About you:
We're looking for a capable HR professional who combines strong stakeholder skills with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities and can confidently work within a complex organisational environment. You will bring:
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, directors, delegates and union representatives on sensitive issues where interests may differ.
Well-developed problem-solving and analytical capability, including the ability to investigate issues, identify trends and contribute to accurate reporting.
Experience working in a similar role within a large, complex organisation, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within required timeframes.
Experience with relevant Queensland Health systems, particularly myHR, DSS and SAP HR, will be highly regarded.

The MSH Conversions team oversees all MSH's permanent conversion reviews, in accordance with the Queensland Public Sector Act 2022 (the PS Act), PSC's Directives Review of non-permanent employment Directive 02/23, and Review of acting or secondment at higher classification level Directive 03/23.
