Elaris Academy is a growing tutoring academy dedicated to helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We provide personalised tutoring for primary and secondary school students in Mathematics, English, Science, and Arabic through both online and face-to-face lessons.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable tutors to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for university students, pre-service teachers, graduates, teachers, and professionals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on students’ learning.
Tutors may teach:
- Mathematics (Primary – Year 10)
- English (Primary – Year 10)
- Science (Primary – Year 10)
- Arabic Language
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions.
- Prepare lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.
- Support students with homework, assessments, and exam preparation.
- Track student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain professional communication with the Elaris Academy team.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring experience OR
- Achieved a VCE Study Score of 40+ in the relevant subject area.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work independently.
- Passion for helping students succeed.
Desirable
- Ability to tutor multiple subjects.
- Arabic-speaking applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
