The Role:
The role of the Mortgage Broker is to guide the customers through the loan process,
compare and recommend suitable loan products that will meet their financial needs and
provide excellent customer service. Their role is to nurture long-term leads and follow up
until they are converted. We are looking for a professional and motivated individual to
contribute to the success of our business. The position will work closely with the Broker
Team Manager and the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Liaising with prospective clients to understand their mortgage requirements.
- Work with new prospects and existing clients delivering market-leading customer service
- Recommending loan combinations that align with clients' requirements.
- Analyzing clients' financial status, discussing financial options, and developing financial strategies.
- Prepare and verify supporting loan documentation, as well as follow up on incomplete, inconsistent, missing or outstanding documentation from customers.
- Facilitating home loan mortgages, and other financial products for our valued clients through partnerships with banks and lenders.
- Help and guide eligible applicants in obtaining home loans in a timely and professional manner
- Perform initial recommendations of potential borrowers by examining their personal and financial situation, prepare, review and submit documents in line with BID standards and requirements.
- Ensure a high engagement level across support teams.
- Attend regular training sessions while ensuring you remain up to date with the current lender policy requirements.
- Managing and updating client’s status and information in our CRM system
- Ensure compliance standards are met with current knowledge of legislation, market trends and analysis, and key industry drivers.
About the applicant:
- Cert IV in Financial Services/Mortgage Broking and Clear Police & Credit Report (Mandatory). Diploma in Financial Services, Mortgage Broking (optional)
- At least 2-3 years experience as a Mortgage/Finance Broker
- Excellent attention to detail, grammatical skills and proofreading ability.
- Professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills, prioritisation and time management skills, as well as being client-centric.
- Ability to lead a team, encouraging and ensuring all team members are performing and working in a positive environment.
