About the role
As a Mobile Sales Consultant at Sleep Electric Sydney, you will help with driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
This dynamic full-time role involves running our mobile showroom service across Sydney, helping clients trial adjustable beds and lift recliner chairs in the comfort of their own homes.
This is not a retail shop role. You’ll be out on the road meeting clients face-to-face, building trust, demonstrating products and helping people improve their comfort, independence and quality of life.
Your core focus will be
- Attending booked in-home appointments and product trials
- Proactively engage with potential clients to understand their sleep needs and preferences
- Delivering a consultative, solutions-focused sales experience tailored to each customer’s needs
- Following up leads and quotes to convert sales
- Developing strong referral relationships with Occupational Therapists, Care Managers, and NDIS / Support at Home providers
- Contributing to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the retail or sleep industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with elderley clients and clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to confidently demonstrate and recommend sleep solutions
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to delivering positive outcomes
- Proficiency in time management and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Requirements
- Valid Full Australian driver’s licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to obtain and pass National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
- Up-to-date influenza (flu) vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to obtain, due to working with aged care, disability and vulnerable clients in home and care settings
