As a Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the construction of critical infrastructure projects in Central and Southern Queensland (CQ/SQ). Working across construction, operations and maintenance activities, you'll provide practical, solutions-focused safety support that contributes to strong project outcomes and a high-performing Health & Safety culture.
In this role, you'll partner closely with frontline teams and leaders to embed effective safety practices into day-to-day operations. You'll provide advice on legislative compliance and risk management, support the application of systems and controls, and help ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently in complex environments.
You'll have a strong field presence, working alongside teams to proactively identify hazards, support risk mitigation, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. This role will also see you involved in audit and assurance activities, supporting incident responses and event learning, and contributing to the ongoing development of safety systems and processes.
