As our business continues to grow and our reliance on technology systems increases, we are seeking a skilled ICT Support Engineer to support, maintain, and improve our internal ICT infrastructure, business systems, databases, and digital platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities – ICT Support Engineer
As an ICT Support Engineer at AAA Radiators, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company's ICT systems and business applications. Working closely with management, software vendors, and end users, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining internal ICT infrastructure, including servers, databases, network connectivity, and associated systems.
- Implementing and integrating MYOB Acumatica and its APIs to our current workflow.
- Researching latest tools and technologies including AI, which can help our process to be faster and easier.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing proactive measures to ensure reliability, security, and business continuity.
- Providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
- Administering and maintaining SQL databases, including performance tuning, backup management, and system optimization.
- Supporting the implementation, integration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise business applications and third-party software solutions.
- Managing system upgrades, software deployments, and technical enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Developing and implementing automated solutions to streamline business processes and reduce manual administrative tasks.
- Supporting the integration of business systems and ensuring accurate and reliable data synchronization across platforms.
- Administering and maintaining company websites, digital platforms, and internal technology solutions.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, system configurations, and support records.
- Collaborating with software vendors, technical service providers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
- Delivering technical guidance and training to staff to ensure effective use of business systems and digital tools.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in ICT support, systems administration, application support, or a related technical role.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, databases, system integrations, and networked environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, SQL databases, business applications, and ICT infrastructure.
- Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical priorities.
