About the Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-intensity support to a participant in Ivanhoe, Victoria.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting people with complex support needs and be confident in providing person-centred, respectful and responsive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience providing high-intensity support to people with complex needs.
- Experience supporting individuals with personality-related conditions.
- Experience working with people with dissociative disorders.
- Experience supporting individuals who are neurodivergent.
- Ability to remain calm, patient and professional when responding to challenging or complex situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow individual support plans, risk management strategies and participant preferences.
- Commitment to maintaining the participant's dignity, privacy, choice and independence.
- Previous NDIS/disability support experience is highly desirable.
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in support work
Demonstrated experience
Experience supporting clients with mental health needs
Experience supporting neurodivergent clients
Valid driver's licence
Own vehicle with current registration and comprehensive car insurance
Reliable, flexible, and available on an as-needed casual basis
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid/CPR certification
