Junior Graphic Designer – Women’s Product (6-Month Contract)
We’re looking for a creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our Women’s Product team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, helping shape the visual identity of our global product ranges.
Working within the Women’s Art Hub and reporting to the Women’s Graphic Art Director, you’ll bring ideas to life across apparel and accessories — from bold placement graphics to prints, trims, and elevated seasonal stories. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real impact, contributing to upcoming collections and influencing how our product shows up in market.
Based in Torquay, you’ll collaborate closely with Design, Product, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, inspiring ranges that resonate with our global customer.
What You’ll Do
- Spec and clearly document styles, working closely with production teams to bring designs to life as intended
- Create original graphics, prints, and trims that elevate product across the women’s range
- Contribute to seasonal direction across colour, print, and graphic expression
- Ensure all graphic elements align to range architecture and customer segmentation
- Work closely with Product Developers and suppliers to deliver quality, consistency, and innovation
- Support more sustainable design choices through considered materials and execution
- Maintain strong brand consistency across all touchpoints
What You’ll Bring
- Strong capability in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- A sharp eye for graphic design, illustration, and layout
- Solid understanding of the product lifecycle and development process
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong awareness of fashion trends, youth culture, and surf lifestyle
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims
- A collaborative approach with clear, confident communication
- A genuine connection to the Rip Curl brand
