About the Role
Join our team as an Allied Health Assistant and play a valued role in supporting occupational therapy services that help patients build independence, wellbeing and confidence. Working alongside allied health professionals, you will deliver meaningful therapy support and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
- Support occupational therapists with delegated therapy interventions
- Facilitate group activities that promote independence and participation
- Deliver person-centred care across a range of clinical settings
- Assist patients to achieve therapy goals and improve quality of life
About You
You are a compassionate and reliable Allied Health Assistant who enjoys supporting people to achieve their therapy goals. You will bring strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to provide safe, person-centred care under the guidance of allied health professionals.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
- Experience supporting patients in a healthcare service environment
- Apply rehabilitation skills within scope of practice
- Communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Recognise changes in patient needs and seek guidance when required
