About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to assist individuals living with disability to live independently, safely, and with dignity. This role involves providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans and NDIS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Assist with community access and social participation
- Support clients with household tasks (cleaning, meal preparation, shopping)
- Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the team
- Promote choice, independence, and respect at all times
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Be willing and able to complete Manual Handling training
- Have a caring, patient, and respectful approach
- Be reliable with good communication skills
- Have the ability to follow policies, procedures, and care plans
Desirable (but not essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar
- Previous experience in disability or community support
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
