About GC Media GC Media is a Gold Coast-based marketing and content agency working with local businesses across trades, health, hospitality, and lifestyle. We create content that actually converts, short-form video, photography, social media management, and paid advertising across Meta platforms.
The Role We're looking for a motivated intern to join the team for a 3-month hands-on internship. This isn't a coffee-fetching role, you'll be working directly alongside the founder on real client accounts, building skills and a portfolio that actually means something.
What You'll Be Involved In
- Assisting with content creation (reels, carousels, graphics, captions)
- Social media scheduling and management
- Researching trends and content ideas for active client accounts
- Supporting shoot days (Gold Coast locations)
- Helping with basic reporting and campaign monitoring
- Behind-the-scenes content and day-in-the-life agency footage
What We're Looking For
- Based on the Gold Coast or nearby
- Studying or recently completed marketing, media, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Genuine interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Self-starter who can work independently from home
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Meta platforms
- Basic Canva or editing skills a bonus
- Reliable, communicative, and eager to learn
