About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Lead and manage the Special Education and/or Early Childhood Development Program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advice, targeted support, and evidence-based interventions for students with disability.
Provide expert guidance to school leadership, classroom teachers, and staff to develop, implement, and monitor effective reasonable adjustments, case management, and inclusive teaching practices.
Coordinate specialised support services, including intensive targeted teaching, access to departmental and external specialist services, professional learning, and partnerships with families, agencies, and community organisations.
Implement and oversee school-wide systems for monitoring student progress, managing disability data, and ensuring accurate Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes to inform planning and compliance.
Contribute to whole-school improvement by participating in leadership and decision-making processes and effectively managing human, financial, curriculum, and facility resources to achieve strategic school goals.
