Ottoman Village Aged Care is currently seeking caring, compassionate, and motivated Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by providing respectful and professional support tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and goals.
In this role, you will assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, meal support, and participation in social and recreational activities. You will work closely with nurses and other care team members to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care while maintaining their dignity, independence, privacy, and wellbeing. You will also be responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing and ensuring accurate documentation is completed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for aged care, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and patient nature, and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. You will be reliable, professional, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in aged care, disability support, community care, or a similar environment will be highly regarded. A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification is preferred, along with a commitment to providing safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive care.

Pay: $33.65 – $55.51 per hour
