Restaurant Manager – 57 Cafe Bar Restaurant
57 Cafe Bar Restaurant is looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to join our team.
We are a busy café, bar and restaurant focused on great food, quality service and creating an enjoyable experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation and help drive the business forward.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading the team and ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operations of the restaurant
- Leading, training and motivating front-of-house staff
- Ensuring high standards of customer service
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety standards
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and supplier management
- Controlling labour costs and minimising wastage
- Supporting the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service
- Ensuring restaurant presentation and cleanliness are maintained
- Assisting with functions, events and promotional activities
- Monitoring sales and helping achieve business targets
- Opening and closing the venue when required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Is confident managing a busy restaurant environment
- Can lead and motivate a team
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable and hands-on
- Can work effectively under pressure
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards
- Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work
- Is flexible with availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
