Summary: Good Morning Coffee Traders is seeking a passionate and experienced Barista / Supervisor to join our team in Garbutt. This casual role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the hospitality industry while taking on leadership responsibilities. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality coffee, leading the team during service, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient café environment.
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and drinks
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience
- Supervise daily operations and support team members during busy periods
- Open and/or close the café, ensuring all procedures and checklists are completed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas of the café
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and restock supplies as required
- Handle cash, reconcile tills, and ensure accurate transaction processing
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting consistency and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
- Previous barista experience is essential; supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong passion for coffee and hospitality
