About this role:
As the HVAC Product Manger - Airside, you will own key elements of product strategy and portfolio execution across the Australian and New Zealand market. You will work closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and external suppliers to develop product plans, support launches, improve margin, and ensure the portfolio stays aligned to customer needs and market demand.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement product line strategies for the HVAC portfolio, particularly with Airside portfolio.
Drive market expansion, profitability, and portfolio growth opportunities.
Lead new product introductions, product launches, and cost-out initiatives.
Conduct market research, analyse competition, and track customer and market trends.
Build product roadmaps, monitor product performance, and present strategic updates.
Support pricing strategy and margin optimisation across assigned products.
Provide sales training, product positioning, and market support to commercial teams.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, sales, and external suppliers to deliver business objectives.

You will stay close to the market and the field, using customer and competitor insight to shape product decisions.
You will balance technical detail with commercial discipline, ensuring products are positioned for performance, value, and margin.
You will work cross-functionally to remove obstacles, align priorities, and keep launches moving smoothly.
You will use clear analysis, practical problem-solving, and regular communication to turn strategy into action.
You will build strong relationships with sales and technical stakeholders so the portfolio reflects real customer needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in HVAC product management, product marketing, or product/program management.
Strong knowledge of HVAC markets, including Fan Coil Units, Close Control/IT cooling, air handling units, fan wall units, computer room air handling units, and integrated controls.
Experience working with HVAC suppliers and understanding product specifications.
Proven ability to analyse market data, competition, product performance, and pricing opportunities.
Business management skills combined with strong technical awareness.
Experience collaborating across sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier networks.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and manage priorities across stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Suite for analysis, reporting, and presentation materials.
Experience in HVAC or industrial field controls, product application, or regional product development.
Experience bringing new tools or approaches that improve interaction with the field and commercial teams.
Experience with Data Centre and other mission critical environments highly regarded
