Registered Nurse

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position based within Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital on rotating roster.The salary for the role is in the range of $75,000 - $85,000.
Position Functions:
- Planning and evaluating nursing care in consultation with the multidisciplinary health care team and patients/carers using effective interpersonal communication.
- Carrying out nursing practice in accordance with Legislation, Common Law and Code of Ethics, Professional Standards and competencies
- Supervise enrolled nurses and nursing assistants in the delivery of client care.
- Ensuring Care is planned with all members of the health care team and other relevant staff in accordance with assessed needs.
- Ensuring priorities are determined for individual patients.
- Ensuring patient care outcomes are monitored and adjusted and plans updated when necessary.
- Providing high level communication skills that include: interpersonal, verbal, written, computer, and the ability to work cohesively as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements of the position:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated effective time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
