Location: Lexie’s on The Beach & Crows Nest - Stockton
Position: Experienced Chef + Experienced Cook wanted for immediate start.
Part-time position x 2 available.
The iconic Lexie’s on the beach cafe and Crow’s Nest restaurant, a freshly opened rooftop restaurant and bar with sweeping ocean views and laid-back coastal charm. Known for our handcrafted meals, curated wines and friendly team; we’re a popular spot for locals, travellers and private events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes following established recipes and procedures
- Ensuring all meals are presented in an appealing and appetising manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory and ordering
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Chef or cook - minimum of 2 years
- We value creativity in the kitchen and encourage input on specials, presentation and menu development
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
- Suited to candidates seeking part-time work or additional hours around other commitments
