We are looking for a casual relief ESL teacher to deliver our B1 General English class at our Parkville campus.
- Onsite teaching position
- Adult class
- Wednesday-Friday classes (3 days per week)
- 6 teaching hours per day, 9am-4pm (non-paid breaks included)
- Classroom resources provided
- Academic support provided
- Weekly summative assessment to be delivered and marked if teaching on a Friday
Successful applicants will liaise with academic management and/or general management on a daily basis. You will teach from our core textbook, however have the freedom to supplement with your own choice of materials (supplementary materials provided).

Minimum required qualifications:
- Bachelor degree (language/linguistics fields preferred but not essential)
- CELTA certification or TESOL certification
Additional requirements:

Please note: We are an adult education college but operate in an early childhood environment.
Preferred experience:
Candidates who possess any of the following qualifications/skills will be highly considered:
- Recent CELTA/TESOL graduates are encouraged to apply
- At least 1 year of ESL teaching experience in an English-first country
- Experience teaching multicultural ESL classes
- Experience teaching classes of 15-20 students
- Experience administering and marking summative tests
Preferred skills:
- Ability to understand course syllabuses and academic calendars
- Ability to independently develop effective lesson plans (though academic support is provided if needed)
