We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female NDIS Support Worker to provide daily support for a 27-year-old female participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is a consistent and ongoing role with a structured weekly schedule. We prefer someone who lives close to the participant due to the split shift schedule.
About the Participant:
- 27-year-old female
- Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- No behaviors of concern
- Has a dog at home
- Does not require community access regularly
Driving during shifts is generally not required. However, you may need to assist with transportation occasionally if necessary for essential appointments or errands.
Shift Schedule:
Monday, Thursday, Friday
- 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday
- 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Weekends
- 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily living support
- Assist with routines and structured activities
- Support with personal care if required
- Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment
Requirements:
- Female support worker (participant preference)
- Experience supporting participants with ASD preferred
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
