We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team, focusing on sourcing and recruiting skilled blue-collar, trades, technical, and field-based professionals for Australian clients.
You will manage the recruitment process from sourcing and screening through to interview coordination and candidate placement. The ideal candidate understands the Australian trades market and is confident assessing candidates based on their qualifications, licences, tickets, experience, and right-to-work requirements.
What You'll Do
- Source skilled trades and blue-collar candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, job boards, databases, and other sourcing channels.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies.
- Screen candidates against role requirements, experience, qualifications, licences, and tickets.
- Conduct initial interviews and candidate assessments.
- Verify relevant Australian licences, qualifications, and tickets.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and Australian hiring managers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified trades and blue-collar candidates.
- Conduct market mapping and talent sourcing for hard-to-fill positions.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and pipeline reports.
- Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Ensure candidates meet client, compliance, and onboarding requirements.

You should be comfortable assessing candidates with Australian qualifications and tickets, including:
- Australian Trade Qualifications

- EWP
- Dogging / Rigging
- Plant and Equipment Tickets
- Driver's Licences – C, LR, MR, HR, HC or MC

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
