About the role
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist delivers high-quality nuclear medicine clinical services as part of the multidisciplinary Medical Imaging team at The Prince Charles Hospital. The role is responsible for performing a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmacy activities, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, clinical protocols and patient-centred care principles.
The successful candidate will undertake routine and increasingly complex nuclear medicine examinations, contribute to quality improvement and research activities, and participate in professional development opportunities. The role also supports the provision of after-hours and emergency on-call services while working collaboratively with patients, colleagues and the broader healthcare team.
About you

Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine services, including clinical procedures, radiopharmacy activities and bone mineral densitometry examinations in accordance with established protocols.
Apply sound clinical judgement and progressively develop expertise in managing more complex patient presentations and imaging requirements.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research activities and clinical protocol reviews that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients and stakeholders to support safe, effective and patient-centred healthcare outcomes.
Provide guidance and supervision to students, graduates and support staff while promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
