Cook / Chef – The Coffee Club Mango Hill
The Coffee Club Mango Hill is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cook / Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are a busy café looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a friendly team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking meals to our menu standards
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- Assisting with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable availability, including weekends
- Food Safety Supervisor certification is desirable but not essential
