As our Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face and voice of our practice, ensuring each patient’s experience is smooth, professional, and welcoming.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
- Scheduling and managing appointments using practice software
- Supporting specialists with administrative tasks
- Handling patient records, results, and account details accurately
- Maintaining a calm, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Providing assistance and comfort to patients when needed
- Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, efficiency, and professionalism to the role.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a medical practice (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with Genie practice management software (highly desirable)
- Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
- Professional and courteous phone manner
- Team-player mindset with a positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
