The role is based in the Front Office department which is responsible for the smooth coordination and supervision of the Front Office area including guest services, public areas, and reservations.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Check in and check out of hotel guests
- Taking reservations
- Assisting with all guest enquiries
- Balance the accounts at the end of the shift
- Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis
- Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
- Security and safety of hotel staff & guests
- Ensuring that reception area is neat and tidy at all times

- Ability to multi tasks, work well under pressure and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Able to work independently on PM/Closing shift (finish at 10 pm)
All candidates must be available to work a rotating roster including weekdays and weekends. Someone looking for an immediate start would also be advantageous.
