About the role and where you will be working:
As a RN in Home Care, you’ll be part of our wider clinical team that provides quality & client-focused care in people’s homes. We’re committed to offering tailored services and making the time we spend with clients as valuable as possible.
Whilst you’ll be reporting to our Team Lead Clinical Care, our team will also look to you for support and advice on clinical matters.
This position comes with a company vehicle and fuel card with a casual contract on offer!
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Regularly liaise with our Care Coordinators & external allied health / medical professionals.

Share your clinical knowledge. Support, mentor & train our Enrolled Nurses.

Undertake wound care, monitor medication. Assist with chronic illness & continence.

Develop and maintain trust with our clients.

Go above & beyond to assist clients achieve desired health outcomes.
About you:
Willingness to embrace the values of Southern Cross Care WA and rewarding industry and how it plays into the specific role applied for.
Problem solving comes naturally, and you don’t sweat the small stuff. This role would be well-suited if you have some aged care or community care experience.
You’re comfortable working on your own with wounds, diabetic treatment, continence & medication support, and have an advanced understanding of dementia.
Home care workers do a lot of driving each day, so you'll need to enjoy being out on the road.
To be considered for this role you’ll need:
- AHPRA registration – Registered Nurse.

At least 4 years experience as an AHPRA Registered Nurse

Initiative and ability to effectively prioritise & multi task.

Great interpersonal & communication skills.

Ability to quickly learn & use new software for record keeping.
