The Role
We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our Kalgoorlie ANFO Plant. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe manufacture and distribution of explosive products that support mining operations across Western Australia. Working within a close-knit team, you'll receive structured training and development while building valuable skills in chemical processing, safe product handling and plant operations. You will also be responsible for:
Safely operating plant equipment to manufacture ANFO and emulsion products
Loading and unloading raw materials and product deliveries while completing required documentation and delivery checks
Conducting quality assurance testing and routine production monitoring activities
Completing pre-start inspections, hazard identification activities and incident reporting requirements
Following operating procedures and escalating issues to ensure safe and reliable plant operations
Maintaining housekeeping standards and contributing to the overall performance of the site
What you'll bring
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused individual who enjoys hands-on work, works well within a team environment and takes pride in following procedures and delivering quality outcomes. Experience in manufacturing, processing, mining or heavy industry will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring the following:
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Police Clearance
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
