What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You bring current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, demonstrating your commitment to safe, accountable and evidence‑based practice. You apply well‑developed nursing skills and clinical knowledge within an acute hospital setting, delivering high‑quality care that reflects both professional standards and patient needs.
You use strong clinical problem‑solving skills to maximise patient outcomes, responding to changing conditions with sound judgement and a calm, methodical approach. Your communication is consistently effective, supported by your confident use of information technology and your clear written, verbal and interpersonal skills, ensuring accurate documentation and safe coordination of care.
You plan and coordinate patient care within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to outcome‑focused interventions and fostering collaborative relationships that support continuity and quality. You participate reliably in a seven‑day rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty, demonstrating flexibility, resilience and a strong commitment to service delivery in a dynamic clinical environment.
You present as a capable, adaptable and professional nurse who contributes positively to patient care, team performance and the overall functioning of an acute healthcare service.
