Manager Governance Audit and Reporting
Location: Parramatta / Hybrid (50% in office)
Employment type: Ongoing Full time
Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 ($149,739 - $173,174 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Manager, Governance Audit and Reporting leads a team to ensure compliant, efficient procurement across planning, sourcing, contract and risk management. The role oversees governance, audit, and reporting functions, drives continuous improvement and innovation, and ensures alignment with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework while maintaining procurement accreditation.
What you’ll do
As part of the Governance Audit and Reporting team within Strategic Procurement reporting directly to an Executive Director (ED), you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead the monitoring and compliance function to ensure policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all procurement related activity to ensure a high level of professional practice and deliver compliant, effective and efficient
- Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions

- Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions
- Develop Procurement performance and business reports that align with corporate and state plans, and to maintain and extend the Department's procurement accreditation
- Lead and coordinate audit activities and ensure ongoing compliance with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework
- Apply the procurement governance and risk management framework to monitor compliance, manage risk and improve procurement activity and performance

What we’re looking for
It is essential that the candidate brings extensive experience in governance, audit, and reporting, along with a demonstrated track record of leading complex initiatives, enhancing organisational compliance, and delivering high-quality reporting outcomes.
Additionally, the candidate must have procurement experience and the ability to apply this knowledge in delivering a range of responsibilities. Ideally, the role will requires someone who has a strong understanding of the procurement ecosystem and can effectively support governance and reporting requirements for the procurement function across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in leading a senior team with diverse deliverables.
