The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Fleet Controller is responsible for directing, coordinating and optimising daily transport for our road linehaul division to ensure the efficient utilisation of fleet and subcontractor assets. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring safety, compliance, productivity and operational targets are achieved.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating daily fleet and subcontractor scheduling
- Managing manifests and transport movements
- Monitoring driver fatigue compliance and Safe Driver Plans
- Maintaining strong communication with drivers and customers
- Investigating service failures and operational incidents
- Ensuring compliance with transport laws, accreditation schemes and company policies
- Reporting delays, incidents and non-conformances promptly
- Supporting safe, efficient and cost-effective operations
- Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in transport scheduling, allocating, fleet control or logistics
- Strong knowledge of fatigue management and transport compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise competing demands
