We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Duty Manager to join our team and help drive our floor operations.
The Role
As a Duty Manager, you will be the face of the venue during your shifts, responsible for leading the team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for our patrons. You will oversee front-of-house staff, coordinate closely with the kitchen, and manage venue compliance during high-volume sports broadcasts and weekend events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Leadership: Oversee daily operations, manage floor and bar staff, and ensure smooth service during peak periods and major live sports events.
- Compliance & Safety: Strictly enforce Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) protocols and manage crowd control alongside our security team.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage presentation, venue cleanliness, and customer service.
- Problem Solving: Efficiently handle customer feedback, staff queries, and any operational challenges that arise mid-shift.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume pub, sports bar, or hospitality venue.
- Certifications: Valid WA Approved Manager License, RSA certificate, and Food Handling certidicate
- Availability: Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights and weekends
- Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent cash handling abilities, and a hands-on leadership style. Knowlede in H&L desirable but not essential
- Passion: A genuine love for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
