Location: Brisbane & Gold Coast (Travel required)
We are a retail electronic security firm specializing in the installation and servicing of EAS. We are currently expanding our team and looking for Casual Technicians and/or Sub-Contractors to assist with upcoming projects across South East QLD.
This role is perfect for someone handy with electronics/electrical work who wants flexible hours or a contractor looking to pick up additional volume.
The Work
- Installation and maintenance of retail security tags, pedestals, and sensors.
- A mix of day and night shifts (mostly night shifts in shopping centers).
- Casuals: Hourly rate + training provided.
- Contractors: Opportunities for unit rate/project-based pay for those with the right gear and experience.
Requirements
- White Card: General Construction Induction is a must.
- Reliable Transport: Must have your own vehicle (public transport won't work for night shifts).
- Full PPE: High-vis (long/long), steel caps, hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection.
- Physical Fitness: Capability for heavy lifting and being on your feet for long shifts.
- Flexibility: Availability for night shifts and occasional travel throughout QLD.
Skills & Experience
- Experience: Basic knowledge of mechanical installation, electronics and data cabling is preferred, but we provide full on-the-job training for the right person.
- Contractors: Must have your own ABN, insurance, and basic hand/power tools.
- The X-Factor: We value a "can-do" attitude and the ability to adapt to different site requirements over formal qualifications.
