Archa Limited
Product Manager (Business Analyst)
Full-Time | Melbourne VIC (Hybrid) | June 2026 | $80,000 - $85,000 excl. superannuation
1. About Archa
Archa is a Melbourne-based fintech building corporate credit cards, payments, and expense management for Australian businesses. We provide commercial card products and a white-label payments platform, all underpinned by technology-driven payment infrastructure and data analytics. Our mission is to simplify financial management for SMEs and enterprises.
We are a small, fast-moving team where product decisions have a direct line to commercial outcomes. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership over what gets built and why.
2. The role
We are looking for a Product Manager (Business Analyst) to own the end-to-end delivery of Archa’s core payments products. You will translate business needs into clear functional requirements, set the roadmap, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, compliance, and commercial teams to ship product that moves the business forward.
You will sit at the intersection of customer discovery, delivery, and regulatory reality, with responsibility for both the platforms our customers use every day and the enterprise programs that power our biggest partnerships.
3. What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of major product initiatives across Archa’s core payments platform and our enterprise white-label program, managing scope, release schedules, team capacity, and roadmap planning across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to capture business requirements, and produce functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams for onboarding, user creation, card issuance, and accounting integrations.
- Re-engineer key workflows to optimise operational processes and reduce customer friction, with measurable targets such as faster onboarding and fewer support tickets.
- Direct agile delivery alongside the engineering team, running stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and leadership briefings to keep engineering output aligned with business and compliance objectives.
- Lead evaluation, configuration, and integration of third-party systems (e.g. decisioning, accounting, and reconciliation tooling) to automate credit decisioning and reconciliation across high transaction volumes.
- Oversee testing cycles and UAT across onboarding automation, communications workflows, card issuance, and spend insights features.
- Maintain incident logs, coordinate resolution of risks and issues across each release cycle to keep delivery on track.
- Manage product-related budget inputs, including vendor licensing, contributing to cost-efficient delivery and sound resource allocation.
- Produce user guides, training materials, and platform walkthroughs that support successful onboarding of enterprise customers and internal teams.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with financial security frameworks and industry standards for handling payments, AML data, and sensitive PII.
4. What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering software products end-to-end, ideally in fintech, payments, or another highly regulated environment.
- Strong requirements and discovery skills: you can turn ambiguous business problems into clear specifications, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
- Hands-on experience running agile delivery with engineering teams, ideally in a start-up environment with projects of variable size and complexity.
- Comfort working with data; the ability to use SQL to interrogate product and transaction data is highly regarded.
- A commercial mindset, with the judgement to balance customer experience, compliance obligations, and delivery timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to brief leadership teams and document for both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Tools you’ll use
AI Tools, JIRA, Figma, SQL, Taktile and Slack, within an Agile / Scrum delivery environment.
6. Why Archa
- Genuine ownership of products used by thousands of Australian businesses, including a flagship enterprise white-label program.
- A small senior team where your work is visible and your decisions matter.
- Hybrid working from the office.
- The chance to shape payments infrastructure at a growth-stage fintech.
7. How to apply
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your CV and a short note on why you are interested to our team. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
