Golf Shop Assistant – Casual
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Golf Shop Assistant (Casual) to join our team at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort. This role involves supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop Services and retail activities.
This is a casual position and will require both mid-week and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Golf Department in daily operations
- Open and close competitions, including generating results
- Provide professional and exceptional service to members and guests
- Support retail operations and assist with tee bookings
- Perform daily operational tasks, including cleaning and maintaining cart storage and staging areas
- Carry out other duties related to Golf Shop operations as required
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes
- Passion for golf and commitment to outstanding customer service
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Hard-working, honest, and self-motivated team player
- Availability for mid-week and weekend shifts (between 6:00 am starts and 7:00 pm finishes)
- Must hold a valid RSA certificate, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff and members
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks
