Coil Steel NSW (Erskine Park) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our centralised Finance team, supporting operations nationally.
Coil Steels is a leading independent steel sheet and coil distribution business. We pride ourselves on strong customer service, operational reliability, and a supportive, team-focused environment.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a varied role that combines office administration with accounts payable and accounts receivable support. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a well-run finance function.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide essential administrative and financial support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the business. You’ll be a key point of contact for internal teams and customers, helping maintain accurate records, supporting transactions, and ensuring timely follow-up of accounts.
This position suits someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Order and manage office supplies to support smooth operations

Answer incoming calls and respond to email enquiries professionally

Provide general administrative support to management and wider teams

Follow up outstanding customer accounts and support collections

Maintain accurate customer records within the ERP system

Process credit card payments for cash sales

Release sales orders in line with company procedures

Assist with accounts payable payment runs and supporting documentation

Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Maintain accurate financial and administrative records

Contribute to process improvements within the finance team

Provide general office support as required
About You

Strong communication and customer service skills

Good computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems is an advantage (not essential)

High attention to detail with strong accuracy

Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks

Positive, team-focused attitude

Ability to work independently once trained

Full Australian working rights

Available to work 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
