We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who can properly run a section.
This is NOT a kitchen hand role
You will be cooking during service and expected to handle grill, fryer and prep work under pressure.
We’re not obsessed with fancy CVs or where you’ve worked.
We care about whether you can actually do the job.
Previous Commercial Kitchen experience is preffered, but we’re open to strong junior cooks with the right attitude, speed and willingness to learn.
You must have
- Some commercial kitchen or high-volume food experience preferred
- Comfortable working on a line or ready to step up into section work
- Section discipline: speed + cleanliness + consistency
- Food safety habits (non-negotiable)
- Clear communication and calm under pressure
- Must be available for minimum 3 of the 4 days
The roster
We operate Tuesday to Sunday, approximately 10am–10pm.
Day, evening and weekend shifts are available.
Some shifts may include split-style coverage depending on the roster.
You must have reliable ongoing availability across at least 3 days per week, including some evening/weekend availability.
Pay
$27–$35 per hour, depending on experience, availability and your ability to independently run sections.
We don’t decide where someone sits within that range from a CV alone. Your actual skill level, section ability and trial performance matter.
Work rights
You must already have legal work rights in Australia for the hours above.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
If you’re reliable, move with purpose, keep a clean section and care about the food leaving the kitchen, we’d like to hear from you.
Apply with your resume and current availability.
Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
